The Aether mod itself has not been updated past 12.2 either. Im not sure how well the mod would run in 1.14 even if forge was ready. There is an Aether II mod, which is being updated to 1.14 much faster, however not only is it still limited to forge releasing, it is also different than the original, bringing far less minecrafty elements, and more RPGish elements All Versions.
